This hamper is named after he Ġgantija Temples which is a unique prehistoric monument situated at the centre of an extraordinary archaeological landscape, the Xagħra plateau on the island of Gozo. It consists of two structures built between c.3600 and c.3200 BC.

Officially recognised by UNESCO as the oldest freestanding buildings in the world, the imposing Ġgantija Neolithic temples, areover 5,500 years old–that’s 1,000 years older than Stonehenge or the pyramids in Egypt.
